Chops hay well for my older horse.

I use it to chop hay for my older horse. It works well, it's fairly easy to clean. I like that it has metal blades instead of the plastic strings that break and would end up in my horse's food.

We purchased this product to chip up hay for an older horse. It works very well. Slowly sprinkle hay in, and it comes out fine. We use the provided bag to catch the hay.

Works well after modification

Works well enough after you cut out the grate that blocks the discharge. I used a saws all. Takes a few tries to figure out how the machine handles different types of material. But it does what the description says it does. It is very loud.
