A perfect garden tool set!

You will LOVE this weed eater and blower set! I have had my first set for years and the weed eater head finally froze up. I wanted to get the exact same items! I am a 5’4” woman and this set is perfect as it adjusts to any height comfortable for you. The spool is super easy to change out and it automatically feeds itself, no need for tapping. They are both extremely light but strong too. You will be very pleased!

Disappointing.

B&D has made a change to these trimmers which greatly reduces their effectiveness. They used to have a torque control dial on the handle, which allowed the trimmer to cut thicker branches for a shorter time. I just got one of the new ones, minus torque control. The 40v allows it to cut for a long time, but with the single torque setting, it’s as weak as a 20v. Very disappointing. My bad for not making sure to get the model with the torque control.

Defective battery

The battery is defective; I called Black and Decker and they have yet to send the battery. I called a second time to inquire about the battery and was told again that it is on the way.

Black and Decker Combo KIt

I have used Blacker & Decker's String Trimmer Combo Kit myself for years and I have been extremely pleased with both. My daughter and son-in-law were in need of a weed eater. So I recommended what I had used and they got the same combo kit. They too are very pleased with both.
