The Champion Power Equipment 3 in. Portable Chipper-Shredder with Collection Bag is designed to dependably deal with branches, brush, leaves, and yard debris by transforming them into mulch or decorative accents for your yard. You will notice that the blades need to be sharpened or replaced when the tree limbs require extra force to feed into the chipper chute. The chipper knives may be sharpened at a 30-degree angle until the distance between the edge of the blade bevel and the mounting holes is less than 1/16 in. You'll get the best results when you use the bottom chute. But to be honest 3 in is a little bit of a stretch. It chews up the 2-in just fine anything bigger than that it does struggle. And if you feed anything through the top shoot it doesn't create good chips. But overall it's perfect for the occasional use by a homeowner

I think the wood chipper is fantastic! The only things I would change on it is how the bag mounts to the shoot, and also how it grinds the leaves. I was having leaves come out semi-whole after going through the chipper.
