Great machine for the price

Works great it will bog down if try and feed the maximum sized log through but it keeps going. Looks like it has a very heavy flywheel which helps it shred up stuff

Good but temper your expectations

Even though it says, it's 3 inch diameter there is no way you could actually cut a branch and chip it. That's 3 inches bogs the machine down terribly small twigs and branches through the top. Just fine but don't expect too much out of this little machine.

Underpowered and nearly useless

Though it is advertised to take 3" branches, it simply will not. It struggles to take 1.5"-2" branches. Most branches just bounce around inside the chute, requiring the operator to reach INTO the chute. Anything over 1" causes the engine to bog down to the point of nearly choking out. The "guard" doesn't prevent any chips from coming back out, it's basically just there for show. The chute is angled in such a way that you basically MUST use the bag that comes with it. When it actually runs well enough to be useful, you're stopping to empty the bag every few minutes. Don't expect to do jobs of any real size with this machine. Don't repeat my mistake, this unit is NOT worth it. The "good price" was anything but.
