The Little Red Kayak

Im a beginner so before i made my purchase, i did a lot if research. I'm 60 years young so i wanted something that i could handle. Since my purchase, i have been practicing in my pool. Its important to learn how to get in and out of the kayak in both shallow and deep water. This Kayak is easy yo manuver and i quickly learned how to move it about. My first trip out on the lake is in two weeks. I have obtained all my safety gear and have watched many videos on kayak safety. I'm super excited. I feel very comfortable on this kayak and cant wait to take it out.

I love it but my 1st and only time using the pad where you sit broke lose from gomets. Poor construction on bottom part of seat!

I stand 5'10 and have the ability to walk 50 yards and carry the kayak with 1 arm. 40lbs at its dry weight. I appreciate the molded handle in the middle. I plan on getting an upgraded seat with thick cushion, my husband had no problem using what it came with. We were out on the water 3hrs. This is our third and final kayak; getting shorter everytime. This stands at 8.5 and fits perfectly ontop of my Toyota Land Cruiser.
