Q: Are there plugs that go under your seat so water doesn’t get in?
7 days ago- A: You can purchase plugs if you choose. The holes in your kayak are called scuppers. Scupper holes let the water that has splashed into your sit on top kayak drain out, keeping you drier than you would be if you had no holes. Here is a link to a video that explains how they work: https://youtu.be/A55nWxM3CMs6 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can a trolling motor be attached
8 days ago- A: This kayak is not designed to accommodate a motor. A trolling motor will only work on our Manta, Yukon and Sport fisher kayaks. The design of the Hydros Sit-On-Top Kayak, does not provide a means to mount an electric trolling motor, without having to modify the hull of the kayak resulting in the void of the 5 year warranty period.8 days agoHelpful?
Q: Does the 225lb weight limit include gear? Or would there be extra room for gear?
21 days ago- A: The total weight capacity of this Lifetime Hydros Kayak is 225 lb. That would include the weight of the gear. With the gear you should not exceed the 225 lbs.21 days agoHelpful?
Q: Difference between square back and pointed back
a month ago- A: The difference between a square-back (flat transom) and a pointed-back (traditional) kayak or canoe design comes down to how you plan to power the vessel, its hull tracking, and its overall water efficiency.a month agoHelpful?

Q: Can this be strapped on top of a ford EcoSport. Very small suv
2 months ago- A: Thank you for your question. The Lifetime Hydros kayak has an overall length of approximately 8 ft. 5 in. and a product weight of about 40 lb. Transport on the roof of a Ford EcoSport may be possible, provided the vehicle is equipped with a roof rack or crossbar system rated to support the kayak’s weight and dimensions. Compatibility will depend on the vehicle manufacturer’s roof load limits as well as the specifications of the installed rack system and tie-down equipment. Please refer to the Ford EcoSport owner’s manual and the roof rack manufacturer’s guidelines to verify safe transport capacity and proper securing procedures before use.2 months agoHelpful?
