Not good

I bought four packs of his stuff and none of it worked and we followed the directions like it said to do so I’m out like $30-$40. Not very happy with this yet. I have pictures that it didn’t stick

No, I do not recommend this product.

JB weld needs better engineering.

Product doesn't work. Even used the aluminum tape to hold it. After 20 minutes it became undone on the edges. Better off using galvanized sheet and some self tapping screws.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A Very Disappointing Product

I have used JB Weld products with great success for many years and when I recently had an issue with a minor exhaust leak I again trusted JB Weld to provide a solution. This was not to be. I purchased a Tiger Patch kit despite reading some negavive reviews about the product. I watch a video and it looked like this would be the product I needed. Right out of the package I had my doubts. The "tape" was more like a very stiff belt. I could not form it around the round 2 1/2" clean and rust free round exhaust pipe and it would not bind either to the metal or to itself. When I removed the brown paper and the red sheathing the tape was very dry. Gloves would not have been needed.I applied heat from a heat gun at a temperature approximating what the car engine would produce and the "tape" did soften and bind to itself but not to the metal pipe so in effect was useless. Was the product out dated and dried up? This is the first time JB Weld has been a disappointment and a total waste of money. I bought this product at Canadian Tire.

Hard as steel??

I was using this to reinforce a pipe from bending. It’s rather terrible. It starts off rigid, then expands and the edges lift. Any kind of tape I tried melted before the stuff was hot so ended up wrapping with alum kitchen foil which seemed to work if I kept squishing it with my hands (which burns) and the only parts that are really hard are all the edges and ends that still lifted!

No, I do not recommend this product.
