This Devcon VersaChem 4 Minute Steel Epoxy is a fast-setting, industrial-strength epoxy that is excellent for bonding metal to metal or repairing defects in metal, wood, and masonry. It hardens to a steel-like mass that can be drilled, tapped, sanded, filed, or painted once fully cured. Only mix the amount of hardener and resin that can be used within the handling time, and always mix equal portions of the hardener and resin thoroughly together in order for this product to cure properly. It is good to use removable tape on areas that you do not want the steel epoxy to get on. Before the 4 minute epoxy cures, remove the tape. It bonds aluminum, steel, brass, bronze, and metal with a tensile strength of 3000 PSI. Gray colored, the non-flammable formula of this epoxy is resistant to water and most automotive fluids.
