J-B Weld 2 oz. TankWeld Epoxy Putty

I had the misfortune during Christmas that one of my stocking holders broke. The clip that was supposed to be welded, came apart. I used the J-B TankWeld Epoxy Putty to correct the weld failure. I used a pea sized amount to patty the clip to the stocking holder. The putty did the magic and I was able to use the stocking holder during the holiday season.

My husband is an electrician by trade, but he does just about every fix-it job under the sun! Wow! This stuff might be small, but it sure is mighty. It comes in a convenient tube and reminds me of play-dough. It is super easy to use and quick as well. I haven’t used it on any major projects but it worked nicely for securing a leak in a faucet (although it didn’t look pretty) as well as a chip on my grill that I wanted to seal so it wouldn’t get rusty. I just used gloves and rubbed it in between my fingers and then applied it firmly. Within an hour it was good to go! We will continue to use this in our household for plumbing fixes, fuel tank repairs, and gardening equipment.
