J-B Weld ClearWeld is a quick setting, multipurpose two part epoxy that provides a strong and lasting bond on most surfaces including tile, most plastics, ceramic, glass, wood and metal. ClearWeld is designed to cure with a clear, transparent bond when used at thicknesses of less than 15 mil. ClearWeld has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 5 minutes and cures in 1 hour. With a tensile strength of 3900 PSI, ClearWeld sets to a hard, permanent bond.

I’m building a 5 foot Long Star Trek Enterprise B and I am using this for an adhesive for the armature I made from copper pipe. The model is reinforced with fiberglass so I needed something bond the copper and fiberglass together. Fantastic strength. Easy to use. Everything I hoped it would be coming from JB Weld.

I used this epoxy to fill minor gouges and scratches on my wood working table. I blended fine hardwood sawdust into the two part mixture making a paste and filled the blemishes. When it dried hard, I sanded it flat and smooth using 400 grit paper. The result looks like a knot or a dark vein in the wood. I also use it for repairs.
