J-B Weld HighHeat is a hand mixable epoxy putty stick specifically formulated to bond and repair materials that will be exposed to high temperatures in automotive and industrial maintenance applications. It cures to a tough, hard bond with little to no shrinkage. This industrial-strength product outperforms conventional epoxy putties at high temperatures and sets in 1 hour at room temperature. After 8 hours, it can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed and painted. HighHeat is rated at a strength of 4000 PSI and cures to a machine gray in color. It can withstand continuous heat exposure of 500 degrees F and intermittent heat exposure to 550 degrees F.

Great to seal holes but does not harden up

Good stuff but does not hard enough as the desription says. I put ion my charcoal pit due to I had holes on the side and bottom on the smoker and the putty seems to do ok but it is not what I was expecting for 10 dollars a tube to me it was not worth it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Strong and Heat Resistant Epoxy Putty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I want to state that I received this product in exchange for my honest review. The JB Weld high heat temperature resistant epoxy putty is great for jobs that require a strong bond that can withstand high heats. It can withstand continuous heat up to temperatures of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. I was able to use this to put 2 pieces of metal that needed to be bonded together. This table needed to be able to withstand heat due to the nature of the job. No complaints here!

Great to have on hand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband usually keeps a package of JN Weld Putty on hand. He was excited to receive the HighHeat Epoxy Putty version to have on hand when he needs it for high heat projects!

Tough, long lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free through influenster in exchange for my honest review. JB weld is a great product to have on hand, it truly is so powerful and does what it claims. I was talking to family members about it and they told me all the ways they’ve used JB weld in the past and they’ve never had it fail ever. Those uses included fixing a dropline for fishing and truck engines, they swear by it. It’s definitely a quality product that you can trust.
