2 years old with little home use and the pump broke inside, a piece got stuck in check valve. Tractor supply warranty comp. Refunded the original cost, after waiting two months ( part of that was the repair shop, leaving it sit outside and not even diagnosing what was wrong) the cost has gone up $ 600 on his unit. Not worth any where near that It is an expensive disposable unit.

Arrived in great shape. Running almost daily for a month. No issues. I use it with a plasma cutter. Immediate impression is that is a good entry level compressor. Only time will tell if it has durability. Do not be mistaken. This is not on the same level as a Quicy or other true industrial heavy duty compressors. Don’t let that scare you away. It is entry level/budget equipment that should serve a hobbyist or home gamer well. I’d recommend this to a friend.

This compressor is junk. It is made in China and assembled in the U.S.A. I purchased it in 2022 and it failed after about 5 hours of use. The IR tech came out and replaced some parts inside the pump. It ran another three to four hours before going down again. The tech came out again and we pulled the head off the pump and found a screw laying at the bottom but no nut. I decided to ask Tractor Supply for a replacement since it was under warranty. They were good about it and replaced the unit. That one ran about three hours before going down. By this time, the warranty had run out so I was on my own. I called an electrician and we found that the motor was not coming up to speed and he suggested to take it to the motor shop and have it checked. I took it there and they told me that the motor was a cheap throw away motor and there was no fixing it. I ordered a new 5HP motor and after waiting for two months got that installed in December of 2023. I turned it on and it ran perfect but now it will not start once the pressure goes down. I opened up the pressure regulator and found that I can manually start it by pushing the pressure points with a screw driver. I am now in the process of looking for a pressure regulator to replace it. I tried dealing Ingersoll Rand through all of this but they were of no help claiming it was just out of warranty. I bought it because of the IR name but have learned the hard way that it will never happen again. This compressor was used on our farm to air up tires and for blowing off machinery so it wasn't over used or abused. I suggest you look around and spend a little more to get something good if you don't want the problems that I have experienced and are still experiencing.

Good compressor but heavy to install. Had to haul it ourselves.
