Q: Will this harm centipide grass? Is March too late to stop weeds?

1 Answer
  • A: Per the manufacture: The Image Nutsedge Killer products are perfectly fine to use on centipede and many other warm season grasses, when instructions are followed. It is recommended to not use it on any of the labeled turfgrass that don’t go dormant for winter weed control. For example, if in a year-round warm state, do not use it in the season fall/winter time for weed control. Do not use it on winter over-seeding grasses, like rye, or on desired fescues.

However, if covering entire lawn you will want to use 0.8 fluid ounces in a gallon, which will cover 200 sq ft. Any unused mixture could be stored for approximately a week at room temperature.

Works Well Depending on Soil

IMAGE Kills Nutsedge Concentrate works quite well, depending on your soil/ground. I have to work with a lot of red clay mixed in, which can make things difficult at times. I also have a lot of trees in the backyard so there's a lot of shade.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love Image Kills Nutsedge!!!

Been treating lawns for years and NOTHING comes close to killing crabgrass like this product and I'm talking about in hot summer north Florida lawns.... Broad hose end spray early in spring and spot shoot Image on weeds within St Augustine later in the summer. I do use a pre emergent in mid winter and that helps greatly! Really good stuff!!! If you don't like it honestly, you probably aren't using it correctly

Yes, I recommend this product.
