Q: IS THIS SAVE TO USE ON CLOVER AND ALFALPH

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! Gordon's Pasture Pro Herbicide Concentrate is completely unsafe for clover and alfalfa, as it is designed specifically to kill broadleaf plants and legumes. Spraying this concentrate on your fields will completely wipe out these high-protein food plots along with the weeds.

Q: Can this be mixed with Gordon’s Lawn

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! You should not mix Gordon's Pasture Pro Herbicide with other Gordon's lawn weed killers because doing so will create a severe chemical overdose that can burn or kill your desirable grass. Both products already contain high levels of similar active ingredients like 2,4-D, so combining them violates the manufacturer safety labels and can ruin your turf.

More Pasture..

I sprayed Pasture Pro in my horse pasture that was being taken over by weeds. I read the instructions and followed the recommended mixture rate for the weeds that I could identify. In as little as a few hours, I could see the weeds that had been sprayed starting to wilt. Some types took longer, but within a week, I could see a visible difference in my pasture. The best part was I didn't have to worry about the horses getting into the sprayed areas and getting sick, or worse. After a couple repeated applications, I now have a lot more grass for the horses and weed patches are much fewer. Some weed types seem to require a stronger or more applications than others, but overall, a great product.

Doesn't work

Pleeeaase hear me when I say this doesn't do the job. 5 acres. About 3/4 is good grass. The remaining 1/4 were assorted weeds. Used PSture Pro as directed. No weeds died. Now my field is 3/4 WEEDS. Use Grazon instead!

Done with Gordon’s

2nd Gordon’s purchase. This WILTED my nightshade and did nothing to the other weeds. And, yes, I followed the instructions to the letter. That’s $ NOT well spent :( So disappointing, especially when on a budget and when working so hard on weed control coupled with needing grass to grow.

Works on stinknet, safe near horses

Works on stinknet, also known as Globe Chamomile and stinkweed. Wilting seen in about a week, browning in about 2 weeks on the smaller plants. I used it for the stinknet infestation around my barn and approaching my arena and turnout. The five foot strip of about 300 feet in length took about 6 ounces of Pasture Pro in 4 gallons, and I had plenty left over for spot applications inside the border. I have plenty left over in the bottle if I need to re-apply later in the growing season. Read the instructions for application in livestock areas.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Sprayed pasture

Sprayed horse pasture with this. I don’t think I mixed it correct. Some weeds died but most did not.

So far so good

I sprayed on fence line that backs up to woods so a lot of weeded vines grow annually through my fence onto my property. This was the first time I used this product, however used other Gordon’s products with success and within two days the hard to kill vines began to wither. It rained unexpectedly 13 hours after application so I was concerned the solution hadn’t been on long enough to be absorbed but it was working after the rain. I have been out if state for over a week so it is too soon to give a full report. But so far so good.

Yes, I recommend this product.
