Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good results from Pasture Pro. Pasture Pro was applied Oct 1 in souther PA on a dry windless day. In a few days, pigweed, Caroline horsenettle, and redleg was showing signs of dying. Had little effect on plantains. Had no effect on ground ivy/creeping charlie. I'll try a spring treatment. Grass was fine. Horses grazed on the treated pasture 12 hours later--no ill effects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Applied product using a tow-behind sprayer. The mixing instructions are very clear. The broadleaf weeds showed wilting within 48 hours, and the more resistant weeds began to change color within a few more days. Easy to use. I do not give anything a rating of 5 stars---4 is tops from me.

What percentage of active chemicals in this product- any better than regular 2-4-D ?

Asked by: Oldmandone1
Gordon's Pasture Pro contains 49.5% active ingredient from two forms of amine derived 2,4-D. It is a good 2,4-D product for broadleaf weed control. When compared to Gordon's LV400, an ester derived form of 2,4-D, the Pasture Pro will be better to apply in warmer temperatures and will have be susceptible to injure non-target plants.

Will this kill spruce tree seedlings or 1 inch caliper trees if you get some on the trunk while spaying my lawn ?

Asked by: eric h
Pasture Pro Herbicide will kill seedlings. It could damage or kill other plants if sprayed directly on the plant. Over spray or "drift" onto non-target plants can also cause damage.
