Fragile but works

I needed to install two of these on the wall behind my wood stove. The screws provided are not long enough. This is very flimsy and delicate, it arrived with a dent in it and it’s really easy to to damage while installing. But it’s doing its job.

Hey-C slate-look hearth pad does the job

The Hy-C slate-look hearth pad does the trick to safely protect your floors. I just positioned it in front of my new wood stove and that’s it! This was the minimum thickness I could get away with short of a piece of steel and still meet the Jotul stove manufacturer’s standard. I’d suggest putting some non slip rug backing under the long edges if you are concerned about securing it.
