They are readily eaten. No more coughing.

My trainer & I decided my horse has seasonal allergies which contributed to my horses’s cough at a sustained trot or canter. After 2 weeks at the recommended dose (3 scoops ... mixed with his evening grain) we noticed significant improvement: almost no coughing! My horse is back to his usual great work ethic! We plan to continue Freeway through ~ October (or the first good freeze). We will then taper and discontinue. I plan to restart Freeway next March. Thank you a good product! Linda

I used this product late last season with my older mare who has equine asthma (Heaves, COPD) and it worked so well I started her on it earlier this season, which is helping her even more! I am so happy to see her much more comfortable in all the hot, humid weather we have here in southeast Florida. I already purchased enough for the rest of the summer and fall in the herbal (leafy) version, but I see it is on clearance! Please ask them not to stop making the herbal version. Although the SmarkPaks are very convenient, a powdered version is the worst form for this product since most horses with heaves get triggered by small, fine particles. I soak her hay, use special bedding and keep the area around her stall as dust free as possible. I can't feed her something dusty to help her breathe! Perhaps pellets containing the same ingredients would be ok??

I noticed that one of my minis had a little cough or congestion at times and worried that perhaps it could be a respiratory issues given their proximity to shavings dust especially at night when the bottoms dutch doors are closed to their stall. So decided to try this Freeway. I like Hilton Herbs and have used other products of theirs with good results. After several weeks of using the Freeway, I feel that my minis condition has improved and both minis love the flavor that the herbs add to their soaked cubes. I will continue to purchase and love the holistic supplement to any health concerns.
