So far so good!

I’ve split about 2 cords with the help of this so far. It’s taken a beating so far and seems to be holding up well. I’ll update at the end of the season. Split a few 30 inch green oak rounds where my maul was bouncing off. Takes some work but it definitely helps.

I don't think I even split a cord before the tip broke off. We had one when I was a kid and we had it forever, about 20 years. this is not made well. I'll by another one from somewhere else. This design is great just not good steal.

Good overall splitting wedge. However, I bought this 2nd one because the tip broke off of the one that I bought last year and used regularly. The design is good and functions, but the alloy cast is prone to fracturing.

Mine just pounds in like a nail. I have to use the flat edge wedges to actually split the log to get this thing out.
