Lasted about a year of field use. Was fixable.

For a plasticy handle it feels pretty good in the hand. The shape is about right too. It is faily lightweight as well. It finally failed after about a year of pretty consistant use delimbing, cutting slash and the like. The potting materiel that fills the head and holds the handle in place shattered almost like glass. A bunch of shiny rock candy looking shards of black plastic came out of the head. I reset the handle with a 3M marine adhesive that worked pretty well.

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

AWESOME AXE FOR AN AWESOME PRICE. My partner and I used to buy axes mainly from the Bahco brand, but i am just amazed at this groundworks axe available for fraction of the cost !! It is a complete workhorse, has a very good grip and does what can be expected from low a priced axe.
