Growtrax 8.16 lb. 200 sq. ft. Bermuda Rye Grass Seed Mixture, Jumbo Roll

I have mixed opinions on your product. While it easy to roll out initially it was very temperamental after words. Very difficult almost impossible to work with once it got wet, stuff just crumbles. Making it very hard to repair any sections dislodged by wind. We prepped the area (2000 sqft) but first mowing very low, then using a power take to scarify further. We then covered the area with 2” very good top soil. We then placed the product first wetting the ground then soaking it pretty good. There is irrigated so it’s been water 2-3 times per day. Despite staying moist, about ten days later we had to order more to repair areas that became dislodged. It’s been like playing what a mole! We also had any area that we did not have enough to cover, so we did a standard spreader of Scott’s grass seed. Well we are now a month out and the seeded area has done much better - probably should have done the entire area.

cloth seem thin and if there is any wind it blows around. Today is the 3rd day but it hasn't dissolved even with a lot of water. I bought 2 rolls and that wasn't enough so make sure you get enough. I hope it works.

Application of the GrowTrax lawn was very straight forward. Instructional videos were very helpful. We tried using smaller 2-3" patches on smaller areas that needed grass but those had a tendency to be blown away with the wind. So far I am very happy with how it was put in place and looking forward to seeing grass in a few weeks.

This a great way to lay initial seeds for growth and ground cover. The paper roll covers evenly, and sprouts are visible in less than a week. I have already recommended this product to friends, and they have recommended it to friends.
