The Growtrax quick fix roll covers 50 sq.ft. (1.04 ft x 48 ft) and contains Seed, Micro Pellet Fertilizer and Fabric. Bermuda Rye thrives during the summer heat. with annual rye in the mix, it produces year-round results. Bermuda grasses go dormant in the winter, but Growtrax Bermuda offers excellent winter kill resistance, is drought tolerant, and produces exceptional spring "green-up" compared to other Bermuda grasses. We tried a roll to see what we thought. We are very disappointed. We graded and area and spread fresh topsoil. When we rolled it out, the roll ripped super easily and was extremely difficult to place. when we watered it, we were careful not to blast or flood it, and it still ripped more and more. We put it in an area with existing irrigation and set it to run 3 times a day. Even with frequent watering, it dried out and moved around. All in all, it was a waste of time and money. We will be going back to seed and mulch, or sod.
