The Growtrax Fine Fescue Grass Seed Mixture covers 100 sq. ft. (2.08 ft. x 48 ft.) and contains seed, micro pellet fertilizer and fabric. The Fine Fescue is our deep shade variety; we recommend this variety for areas that get less than 20% of good sunlight a day. It is a great looking ornamental grass. This grass seed requires full sun and part shade to grow.

Great concept. Great product.

This a great way to lay initial seeds for growth and ground cover. The paper roll covers evenly, and sprouts are visible in less than a week. I have already recommended this product to friends, and they have recommended it to friends.

It really does grow quickly!

It rolled out easy and really did start growing quickly. The green cloth part of it still hasn’t gone away so I haven’t mowed near it yet. I was using it more as a spot repair rather than a full new lawn. It certainly stays in place better than the seed I tossed down and raked in bare spots next to it. Time will tell how well it thickens and how much returns next year but so far I’m happy to be getting some of my bare spots covered!

Yes, I recommend this product.
