Leaks like a sieve

Bought this two days ago and woke this moring to fuel all over the ground. This device does not contain fuel in a tank designed for transport. After close inspection the vacuum side of this cap does not seal properly allowing seapage from the tank during transport and while stationary on inclines greater than 3 degrees. I will look to the manufacture for further guidance in the coming day to see if this is a one off, and in need or replacing or return for money back.

Doesn't seal well.

I've had it for about a year now, to replace original on an auxiliary tank in bed of pickup. The original one, as well as this one allow fuel to slosh out when full, and i believe it also lets water in during heavy rains.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These vent caps only open to relieve pressure that has built up in the tank. They should not allow any water to enter your tank.
