Q: I bought this in hopes of using it on my new fuel oil tank in my home, Can I use your product in place of the simple vent cap

- A: All of our pumps come with a 2" MNPT connection to mount to a tank, so as long as it fits that requirement it should work. Please note that we only have a select number of pumps that are compatible with oil so do insure you cross reference specifications. If you have questions give us a call!6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this vented cap prevent the pressure from building up in the tank when it sits?

- A: As long as the vent cap is open, which is accomplished by rotating the top golden colored cap, yes it will prevent pressure from building within the tank. If you run into any issues please give us a call!6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this vent allow enough ventilation for a 25 GPM pump?

Q: Will this cap allow air into the tank so that a 15 GPM pump will function? In other words will it prevent a vacuum in the tank?

Q: I want to put a fuel cap on the right side of my aux tank. Will this vent cap be ok for this appilcation? Another words os it vented enough to aloud the tank to work properly?

Leaks like a sieve

Bought this two days ago and woke this moring to fuel all over the ground. This device does not contain fuel in a tank designed for transport. After close inspection the vacuum side of this cap does not seal properly allowing seapage from the tank during transport and while stationary on inclines greater than 3 degrees. I will look to the manufacture for further guidance in the coming day to see if this is a one off, and in need or replacing or return for money back.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I've had it for about a year now, to replace original on an auxiliary tank in bed of pickup. The original one, as well as this one allow fuel to slosh out when full, and i believe it also lets water in during heavy rains.
No, I do not recommend this product.
