Thread Type: It uses a coarse thread, often specifically categorized as a buttress thread. Inside Diameter: Approximately 1 3/4 inches (1.75"). - A: You tip it all the way over. Take the spout out and remove the orange piece, put the spout on the top and take the cap and screw it on to lock it in. Once it is tipped over, push the button on the front of the spout for the flow to start. Please contact the manufacturer for more information.5 years agoHelpful?

can is great. Spout sucks

I suppose a fuel can of any brand cannot be purchased with a decent or " normal" spout. These spouts the do the "chug-a-lug" thing are horrible. Overall, more fuel is spilt due to this design spout than could ever be evaporated.
The can is great. Just need a different design spout.

Worst design of any product in a long time! Takes over a minute to discharge a gallon. I now take the nozzle off to pour.

Garbage. Made of such thin plastic that it looked like a pancake due to gasoline fumes after simply being stored in a shed for a month.
