Q: If it has a strike and i'm out of range / not connected, will it notify me when i get into range and get connected??

- A: Hi Mike. The Bluetooth Smart Cap/Counter will only work when a user with access to the trap is within Bluetooth range. That's roughly 50-150 feet depending on blockages. A feature that must be mentioned here though is the SHARE TRAP function. If you SHARE TRAP with other users with the Goodnature app, other users will also be able to receive updates from the device once within Bluetooth range and then once they connect to the cloud (via a Wi-Fi or cellular network) they will automatically chare all the updates with other connected users on each device.
