Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing but 5 stars! I have 3 of these traps and all I have to say is WOW! Mine set perfect after a few months of wear and the strap grabs better. Caught 3 so far this year and is the only reliable way to know the moles are dead in my opinion. Wife is very happy as well that I am making short work of the moles. Look at my picture with the mole on the trap. This is how good the trap is... A mole on the right and an earthworm on the left.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great!! I noticed mole tunnels in the morning. Read a bunch of articles that said trapping is the most effective way to rid your lawn of moles. Easy Mole trap users had great success so I went to TSC to get one. No surprise it was a lot less expensive at TSC. Set it that evening and had the mole within 30 minutes!! Don't wait to get one of these trap if you get moles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kills This is the old design, the new design is even better. I set mine and had my first mole in a day and a half.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No mole I would leave it on the shelf, this trap is 10% science and 90% luck, the mole would have to be between the jaws at exactly the right time and the trap set just so over the tunnel, didn't work for me after lots of attempts on active tunnels

Are small dogs safe around these traps?

Asked by: jontp1124
Yes, the dangerous portion of the trap will be in the ground. The only portion above ground is the spring loaded lever which you step on to arm the trap.

Push jaws into ground, then step on top lever to open & set.

I set the trap like the directions said. No luck yet after about a month. My land is very sandy. Should the trigger device be level with the top of the tunnel, the ground, or down in the tunnel.

Asked by: Pirt
The jaws/scissors need to be perpendicular to the tunnel and the top lever should be pressed flat to the ground.
