Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Well Bought this rake for leaves and pinestraw build up. Does the job very well on flat or low sloping yards. Read the other reviews and most all were spot on. Be sure to buy the side hitch pins for your 3 point connection. Good sturdy rake.

Hello - can this also be used as a dethatcher? Thank you

Asked by: MaineGuy57
This product can be used for dethatching but will work better for raking pine/straw/debris because the tines are about 3 times larger than standard dethatching tines.

are the tines held in place by a weld or do they snap in place and held in place with a bolted bar?

Asked by: grampsjss
The tines are secured to a steel section with bolts, pressure plates and lock nuts. They are spring tines so they are meant to have a little give and flexibility to them.
