- A: The drag mats are not meant for added weight. If you are looking for a drag to level a bit more aggressive that you can add weight to, you might consider the ATV-78LDT or another Yard Tuff or Field Tuff drag harrow.10 months agoHelpful?

Q: Will this work for the aeration plugs when overseeding a yard? Will it break up the plugs and help with seed to soil contact, or is it best to use a roller for that purpose? Will I have to add weight, too?

- A: We do not recommend this drag for this purpose. A Roller would be better. The holes need to go deep so the grass can get a good root started.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: The YTF-455TBDM Yard Tuff Drag Mat is recommended for levelling playing fields/baseball diamonds and can also be used to prepare food plots by dragging fertilizer into the ground. This item should work for the purpose below but depends on the size of the fertilizer being spread. I would also recommend one of the Heavy Duty Drag Harrows (HDHA-44/HDHA-55/HDHA-68) or the FTF-0424M Yard Tuff Adjustable Drag Harrow which have tines that would be better suited to break up manure.4 years agoHelpful?
