Q: Would this be able to handle using in a horse riding arena? Freshing up sand, by leveling out and raking up leaves and such. Also, is this adjustable as to prevent it going to deep?

1 Answer
  • YardTuff
A: The pine straw/debris rake is not meant for soft surfaces like an arena. Products that would work in an arena are: HDHA-44, FTF-05SDTC or a landscape rake YTF-48LSR.

Q: I’m harvesting pecans where twigs are a big problem for the bag-O Nut sweeper.  I wonder if a person could pull this by hand to avoid the mower crushing too many pecans by pulling the rake?

1 Answer
  • A: It’s not meant to be pulled by hand, it is heavy. You would have to keep a constant forward motion for the unit to collect.

What I expected

It takes a about a half an hour to put together. I raked up my lot with no weight added and it picked up a lot of loose weeds. Then I added extra weight and it picked up a lot more. I previously had a small lawn mower pulled yard rake that required weight. So I assumed this one would too before I bought it. The maker should have a place on top for it.
