Q: Can you put horses out on pasture right after you use this

    1 Answer
    • A: Howdy neighbor! You should wait to put your horses out on the pasture until the entire application has completely dried, which usually takes around four to six hours. Since this surfactant is always mixed with a primary weed killer, the safe grazing window depends entirely on the specific herbicide label you paired it with in the tank. Waiting for the field to dry prevents your horses from absorbing wet chemicals through their skin or eating dying weeds that might taste abnormally sweet to them.

Much more effective than dish soap

I had always used dish soap as a surfactant when spraying glyphosate and 2-4-D. Recently, I noticed this product online at TSC and researched my current method. I found multiple articles that advise while dish soap can be used, it is very ineffective so am giving this product a try. Price is reasonable and it only takes a small amount to my 30-gallon sprayer. So far, it has worked great.

The Best Surfactant Value on the Market

The 1-gallon FarmWorks 80/20 surfactant is the best value on the market.  I’ve seen 32-ounce bottles of surfactant for the same or more expensive price.  It functions as a surfactant should, mixing well with herbicides and pesticides.  I highly recommend this product!
