Used the 80/20 Surfactant to mix with Glyphosate Herbicide, The Glyphosate had surfactant already so said by manufacturer, but I wanted to use on Kudzu, which seems to last very long after applying herbicide too or does not die off very fast, plus we have high humidity and rain often daily, I started out with one teaspoon per gallon, which worked ok, I then started to add more and more, about 1 1/2--2 teaspoon per gallon which made the difference, I could see the herbicide stick to the leafs and staying there, no run off. For those using Glyphosate herbicide on kudzu I have some more information for you, I have been spraying back kudzu creeping onto my property, get you some nitrogen (21-0-0 spray grade Purchased online) to add to your mix, at a rate of 5 1/2 cups per 14 gallons. I have gone to this amount from 4 3/4 cups which is the guideline amount to mix in with on online printout for doing so, I started adding 3/4 cup extra, works much better just by adding an extra in. The 0.5% nitrogen for 14 gallons is 2.78 pounds nitrogen if using 21-0-0. Mix the 21-0-0 with your water first. Then the Glyphosate. Then your surfactant. I used 3oz per gallon Glyphosate (generic brand) which called for 2 1/2oz per gallon.

It definately worked well as a surfactant my only concern is how the chemicals in the surfactant are absorbed into the plant and how the plant processes them once Inside. I would not feel comfortable using it on edible plants. More information on the chemicals it contains would be good.
