Reduce or eliminate residues from pesticides in mix tanks by thorough cleaning with the FarmWorks 32 oz. Liquid Mix Tank Cleaner from one tank mix to the next. Extend the lifetime of seals and other soft parts in equipment and lines, and use the liquid mix tank cleaner with all active ingredients. This mix tank cleaner has an extremely alkaline pH, which helps neutralize acid active ingredients more efficiently and works well with sulfonylurea herbicides, both of which are particularly stubborn when being cleaned from a tank.
For additional information on this product, please see the Product Documents section for all downloadable user manuals, installation guides, brochures and warranty statements.

Q: Is it safe to run through the pump, I have a battery powered backpack sprayer
8 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Here is the information we received from the manufacturer: These are the directions on the label: FOR SMALL TANKS SUCH AS BACKPACK SPRAYERS: Fill the small sprayer with a small amount of water. Add about 1 ounce of FarmWorks Liquid Tank Cleaner for each gallon of water. Shake sprayer to cover all surfaces several times. Pour out water. Repeat, if needed. Rinse several times with clean fresh water until all signs of cleaning agent, such as foaming, are gone. It does not mention running the solution through a pump. For specific questions regarding the safety of running the product through the pump itself, please read the instructions that came with the sprayer or contact the manufacturer of the backpack sprayer for guidance. The sprayer manufacturer will be able to guide the customer on proper cleaning techniques for their specific product.8 months agoHelpful?
Q: I have a 65 gallon sprayer that I’ve used to sprayer a meadow with 2 4 D and glyphosate. Will this cleaner remove all residue so I can use this sprayer to water a vegetable garden?

Q: I want to clean detergent out of an IBC tote and use it to water plants, will this product make water safe for plants?

Q: Will this clean the inside of tanks used for pesticides?
6 years ago- A: Yes, this will remove pesticides from the tanks.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: how many gallons of water will this container treat?
9 years ago- A: FOR LARGE TANKS — 100-300 GALLONS: Close boom valve and add 50 gallons of water to tank, then turn on agitation and add one pint of PROTANK LIQUID CLEANER. PROTANK LIQUID CLEANER goes quickly into solution, allowing you to circulate the liquid through the valves, hoses, and pump by opening the bypass valve. Use the hand boom to wash down the tank interior and cover. Once the pump and interior have been cleaned, open boom valve and empty tank by spraying out through boom and nozzles. Take care to observe proper disposal of spray solution. Rinse tank by following the same procedure using water only. A three minute rinse using cold water is necessary, however if you are changing over to a different chemical, a second rinse will lessen the chance of contamination. When cleaning a tank used for herbicides and chemicals that can cause plant response at low levels, pay particular attention to those parts of the equipment that may absorb the chemical such as hoses, connections, and pump and hand boom packing. Use as directed but in addition allow the rinse solution to remain in the sprayer and its parts overnight. PROTANK LIQUID CLEANER, when used according to label directions, will usually adequately clean the exposed surface of these areas, however, when using these types of chemicals, parts of the sprayer that can absorb product may need to be replaced. FOR SMALLER TANKS – Fill tank half full of water and use 1 ounce or more for each 3 gallons of the tanks volume. When using PROTANK LIQUID CLEANER to clean tanks left standing or containing built-up residue from extended use, allow the cleaning solution longer time to act. PROTANK LIQUID CLEANER’s cleansing action may remove rust and scale that was sealing a badly corroded tank, however, it will not harm steel, aluminum, brass or poly tanks and parts if directions concerning rinsing are followed.9 years agoHelpful?
