The Farm Innovators Ice-Chaser Multi-Use Utility Deicer Guard is used in conjunction with the Model H-4815 floating stock tank deicer to enable the deicer to be used in plastic or rubber tanks. This stock tank deicer cage protects the heating element from touching the sides of the tank. The livestock water deicer cage is easy to install for simple use.

    It works good, but it is too big for the size of deicer I bought. Keeps ice from forming in trough, and in very cold weather.

    bought this today to replace the one that was supplied with my H429 heater. Even though the pkg says that it will fit only Model H-4815, it fits and is identical to the one supplied with my model H429 heater

    This product is needed for the floating deicer. Otherwise the cord on the deicer makes it turn over and exposes the heating elements
