Item Information

Healthy Digestion for Your Chickens

Without grit, your baby chickens' stomachs can't break down food sufficiently. This insoluble, granite-based feed supplement is specially designed to help newborn chicks digest their food properly.

Perfect for Baby Chickens

Using a special crumble grade (suitable for baby chickens), DuMOR Chick Grit will help your chickens break down their food easily so that they can grow up happy and healthy.

We Love Chickens and Know Just What Their Bodies Require

Who better to make food for pets than farmers? At Tractor Supply Company, we bring our deep passion for land and animals to the center of our products and services. By sourcing the best local produce, utilizing superior water purification processes and thoroughly testing our formulas, we guarantee excellent quality food for your chickens.

Feeding Directions:
Provide DuMOR Chick Grit to young birds beginning at two weeks of age. Monitor intake of Chick Grit for the first few days. If consumption is excessive and causes a reduction of feed intake, limit access to Chick Grit. Chick Grit is also suitable for adult poultry and fowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good once set up Cage does NOT set up in one minute as advertised. It's a little difficult to get everything setup, but once it's together it's a good cage. They changed the door design to opening horizontally outward instead of swinging vertically inward. There's advantages and disadvantages to this. It's easier to open it, but our rabbit typically puts his paws up on the door when we come to open it, so we have to make sure he doesn't fall out when we open it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dead ducklings Please advise So I gave my ducklings(5 weeks old) a handful of this and they died within 24 hours after eating. Is this actually food for them to consume? If not, what is it? They were fine up until eating it. The food I had prior ran out and I had to get them something. The person at tractor supply told me this was a great purchase for my ducklings. Please help.
