Wellness Brew is a daily vitamin for chickens and a natural approach to keeping chickens healthy by supporting immune systems and promoting digestive health. For everyday use, it contains a unique blend of oregano essential oil, prebiotics, calcium, vitamins D & E and electrolytes.

Shake well before each use. Mix 1 capful (1 oz) per gallon of drinking water. For best results use daily. For use with chicks, adult birds and all types of poultry.

Q: Can you be specific if this contains oil of oregano or oregano essential oil. Essential oils are not meant to be ingested orally and this could be dangerous.

While essential oils like Origanum Oil (OEO) are only recommended for oral consumption by about half of our human physicians, the use of OEO for health in livestock and poultry are heavily researched and utilized in commercial settings with outstanding results. The FDA and American Association of Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) have listed over 170 essential oils as Generally Recognized as Safe and appropriate for use in livestock and poultry. Given their nature, just like antibiotics, label directions need to be followed for safe administration.a year agoHelpful?

Helped my older hens

Some of my older girls were starting to have after shells. I added this to their water and I haven’t had any in almost a week! I gad oyster shells and other calcium options for them available… it wasn’t helping. This did the trick so far!
