Q: Why do you need to discard water after 12 hours? We use waterers that are 3 gallons and in a 24 hour period, the birds may drink 1.5 gallons. We just fill it up. We do not discard the water that is left over.
a year ago- A: We recommend discarding water after 24 hours to ensure that your chickens are receiving the freshest and most effective source of probiotics. By providing fresh water every 24 hours, you're ensuring the probiotics remain potent and the water stays clean, promoting better overall health for your birds. While your birds may not drink all the water in that period, this maximizes the effectiveness of the probiotics and ensures optimal health. -SCAH Teama year agoHelpful?
