We had a duckling with slipped tendons at one month old. He couldn't walk and only got around on his "elbows." It was a very sad situation. The vet basically said that we should do the humane thing and euthanize him. My children were devastated, so we decided just to give him the best life we could. He did become weaker as weeks went on and even seemed depressed. I did a lot of research and found that he may have a niacin and maganese deficiency. That is when I found out about Nutri-Drench. Within a week, his strength began to increase and he became more energetic. After 4 and a half months of being on this daily vitamin supplement, as well as giving him the next age up for Purina feed (has more vitamins as well), he is walking on his feet! It was our Christmas miracle! Now, he only walks. Hard to believe that this was the same duck that could not walk and almost was put down.
