Q: When are we to start feeding our chicks certain foods? An what? I am a new chick parent. I got them from Tractor Supply on March 6th. Ones a Buff Orbington an the other is a cinnamon queen. I love them, an want the best for them.

Perfect for chicks

Whenever I have chicks being raised in an indoor brooder and I want to start giving them treats like mealworms, I'll place a small bowl of this tiny grit. It works fine for them, haven't had any problems.

I bought a bag of this chick grit. When I pored it out the stones felt kind of big for baby chicks.
I left it in a bowl for them and they didn’t touch it. When I went back I felt another bag of this same chick grit and it felt way smaller.
So I bought this ans it’s the size that it shows in the back of the bag.
