Campsis Radicans is enjoyed by many! Its beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers are a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies and the tropical-looking foliage is appreciated by gardeners looking for a unique addition to the landscape. Q: We purchased this hummingbird plant the plant is doing well except there are no blooms on it is there something that we could do
10 months ago- A: Dear Carol, Thank you for your reaching out! We're glad to hear your hummingbird plant is doing well overall. If it's healthy but not blooming, a few things could help encourage flowers. First, hummingbird vines can take a few years before they begin to produce blooms. Also, make sure it’s getting at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day. You can also try using a balanced or bloom-boosting fertilizer (low in nitrogen, higher in phosphorus) to support flowering. Check that it’s not being overwatered, which can impact blooming. We hope this helps. Sincerely, DeGroot Inc.10 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is this Hummingbird Vine the same plant as the Coral Honeysuckle, aka Trumpet Honeysuckle?

Q: Can this grow on a cement wall? Or is a trellis needed?
5 years ago- A: Thank you for your question. Hummingbird vine may be grown on a cement wall. You may need to use a trellis to train it initially. If the wall is on the south or west side, it could be the source of radiant heat that could damage or stunt the plant. Otherwise, if it is a shaded wall or is in an area that does not get hot, it should be fine. If you have additional questions, we encourage you to contact us at (269) 468-6714 or sales@degroot-inc.com so we may assist you. Thank you, DeGroot Inc.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this flower the same year planted, or is this a young plant that will take 5-7 years before it will flower?
5 years ago- A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Hummingbird Vine may bloom the first year and should bloom in the following years, as long as it is not pruned too aggressively in the spring. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us at (269) 468-6714 or sales@degroot-inc.com so we may assist you. Thank you, DeGroot Inc.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is it the plant or plant seeds?
