I originally bought two. One didn't come back after the first winter, but the other one did. It's about 5 feet tall now and flowers continuously.

It came well packed. One stem about five inches long but had a good root. Planted in container and with in about a week it had leaves. I have had similar luck taking a small stem when the shrub first starts greening-up in spring. I love Rose of Sharon shrubs and had quite a few at our last home. We've had to start fresh in our new home. If this one grows as expected I will be buying more through Tractor Supply until I am able to propagate from my own Rose of Sharon shrubs. Good customer service, quick shipping and they have curb service. Plus a good value.

Small but pretty
a year ago
The three-year-old single stem charmer has bloomed with two flowers each year. It it hasn’t grown more than an inch or two, but hardy. We’re hoping it will develop into a multi-stemmed bush.

Poor quality

I placed an order for pick up. When I got my Rose of Sharon home it was a brown stick. I planted it thinking that it would grow. I planted it six weeks ago and it has no signs of leaves. I would not recommend this product

These might grow

It didn’t look as dead as the others. This one had a leaf that had a microscopic amount of green, I know these are supposed to be dormant but there’s a difference between dormancy and death. So far I have some nice green sprouts. My blackberries have crossed over to the other side however.
