Q: Can't plant my tree for a few more weeks, how do i care for it until then?

- A: Dear Rahz, Thank you for your question. Our product is dormant, packaged bare root plants intended to be without foliage (leaves) while in the store. Dormant plants such as these offer the opportunity to jumpstart spring planting because they can be planted in the ground earlier than potted plants. If your soil is workable, your Belle of Georgia Peach tree may be planted while it is dormant. If you are not ready to plant at the time of purchase, we recommend you store your plant in a cool dark place so it remains dormant until planting. don't be afraid to buy these

bought 2 of these trees and 2 nanking cherry, and 2 berry bushes. all of them showed growth and looked like they had started growing when bought. Planted them right away and watered as needed. the plants just refused to grow more and slowly dried up and died. however one peach tree took right ahold and flourished. after about 6 weeks in the ground I contacted Degroot about a refund for the dead plants and got a refund in about 2 weeks. you need to save the code off of the box which I had saved the whole box so I had them. It was easy to get the refund. I bought my plants from another store around may 10 about 30 miles as my local store didn't have any. scratch test on items showed they were dead but kept them in the ground even now july and no growth on any but the one peach which is a beauty and I'm really happy with. have chicken wire around for protection. would buy again but maybe earlier in the year before plants start sprouting in the package in the store. lets face it you can't beat the price. :-)

Dead trees

But two trees it's been a month so it's June and still do not have any leaves

My peach tree that I thought was an expensive stic

I bought this tree back in March I took it home and stuck it in the ground months later still nothing I dug it up I soaked it in water The Roots were non-existent I put it back in the ground and the other day I noticed it was finally getting leaves I was so happy because I was convinced I bought a really big stick lol I tried to share a picture but it wouldn't let me I also been giving it banana water so be patient

Sticks became dead tree

My Mom bought me this Peach tree in February 2021. I kept it in the house during our snow days to keep safe. After snow days, I planted as instructed. Tree has done nothing. I felt of the limbs and they just broke off. The tree is just dead sticks.
No, I do not recommend this product.
