Blast through snow in harsh conditions with this snow blower! with a patented three-stage system, the Cub Cadet 3-Stage Snow Blower clears deep snowfall up to 50% faster than a Cub Cadet 2X two-stage snow blower. That means you can easily and quickly remove snowfall at a comfortable pace with the snow blower. Powering through the wall of winter at the end of the driveway, this snow blower is a must-have device. The 3X three-stage snow blower is the first of its kind and a leader in the snow removal marketplace. First, the collection augers gather snow, ice and slush and move it all towards the center. Then, Cub Cadet's new high-volume accelerator cuts and chops winter's worst. Accelerating it right into the high-performance discharge impeller where it's thrown up and out of the high-impact chute.

  • A: Did you ever try spraying the impellers with some WD-40 before you start plowing. This works for me.

Q: What is the hofse power

1 Answer
  • A: Hello. We specify our engine size and capacity using engine displacement (cc), because it is highly reliable and consistent. We do not provide horsepower ratings, and there is no direct mathematical conversion to calculate engine horsepower from engine displacement. Thank you for your question.

Q: I am new to the Snow-Blowing world and am looking to purchase a 3-stage - however, would like to know the difference between the tracked and wheeled - I live in Maine so get a LOT of snow and I have some gravel, some tarmac, some sand areas.

1 Answer
  • A: Hello GaDaH, we recommend track versions when you have mostly gravel or steep inclines. Track versions are harder to maneuver when the engine isn't running but they have excellent traction. Thank you for your question!

operator error!?

I bought a competitors version of this same snow blower. I used it for 2 year and absolutely loved it. Moved to an apartment complex and had no use for it and sold it. To someone who also loved it! Im reading these reviews now because i'm planning on buying another. theres video's attached to a couple reviews showing "performance issue's". Hence, start it...engage... cram it into a snow drift... clogged. DUHH!! learn how to use a tool before you bash it in a review! used the electric start once a year for first start. after that, no matter the temp, one pull. not worth getting the cord out. everyone saying worked great on the fluffy stuff..? No, Not really. This machine defiantly made for deeper snow. Still works for couple inches of fluffy stuff but pushes it aways until enough builds up to throw. Never clogged on me. End of driveway.... How to say this....Tim Allen way..No. My way. This thing sounded like it down shifted and threw it way further then "fluffy stuff". Was gonna buy chains for the tires like my previous model had. NO NEED. tires were AWESOME! I did corkscrew the 3rd phase thru a very rugged cooler the kids left in the backyard just before the first 2'+ snow storm in maine. And yes, was very irritated trying to get it out at 5 am. but only broke one shear pin, (rightfully so, but extras included)! Only problem i had with power steering was forgetting to let go of levers after turning. I miss my Black version of this machine. Dont want the red one. The chute on the yellow one looks better designed and probly easier to control then the joystick version, which was my biggest dislike of the other brand. But lets be real here... No matter where you buy this, what color it is, brand, uh.. there all obviously coming from the same place. Spec'd to whichever distributer is selling them. Spec me an 8' 6 Phase double chute i can make 2 passes with...I'm in!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Frustrating...we had to work on it before use.

Gears do not work correctly. We had to adjust them even after that still not working properly. Also, one light was not wired in. We had to repair that as well.

No, I do not recommend this product.
