works o.k. do not like the small three piece auger set on each side and they are very chinnsy in my opinion. shear pins are also an issue they shear very easy but i suppose that is because the augers are so light duty . also the shear pins are hard to find most places are sold out all the time. they are pretty pricey to at about $2.50 per pin. the motor being 357cc runs fine and the efi is working good for now but it just is not impressing me on the power end. now some things i do like are the trigger steering and heated handles nice very nice. also like big tires nice for traction. all in all if they beefed up the augers made them bigger and went to two on a side and used shear bolts instead of those whimpy pins would make this a more impressive machine.

Delivered with issues. Sure,
We could have gone to warranty for repair but why would we when we purchased a brand new unit. Manager at the store said it just needs adjustments. Ok, well we didn't buy a unit that would need service immediately after delivery. Garbage process. Wasn't working properly when it arrived so we returned it with the 30 day hassle free warranty, did get hassled, and spent 120$ to get it back to the store. All said and done, we spent $120, a bunch of time and have nothing to show for it. Yay. Thanks TSC. My guess, it was assembled improperly.

EFI is great - but keep the battery charged!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for 3 years now. When I purchased it, the dealer told me to make sure the battery is charged at the start of the season, and with regular use, it will stay charged. That is definitely not the case. If I don't keep it on the charger when not in use, the battery will drain. When that happens, the blower will not run until I recharge the battery. So - as long as the battery is kept charged, it works great! I am in the heart of the snow belt in Ohio, and it tackles the lake effect snow like a champ!

Sorry I bought this thing.

I bought this snowblower this fall cause all the good reviews. boy was that a mistake. This machine is completely underpowered can't throw snow more than about 10 feet And that's being generous. my 27 inch 25 year old airens did a way better job way faster and with much less struggle. This machine is JUNK I can't wait to sell it this spring. Im so glad we did not get a lot of snow this year or I probably would have blown it up by now. Like for real This machine CANNOT HANDLE heavy wet snow at all !!!!!!!!!!!! I will say that the lighting is very effective and it starts well but that's where the goosd parts end. I own several Cub Cadet implements. I can't say enough good about my lawn mowers. Maybe they should just stick to those.
