Q: if my opening is exactly 20' will 2 gates fit with hinges or should i make the opening a little wider?

- A: Two 10-ft CountyLine 10 ft. x 50 in. Wire-Filled Corral Gate, Black will not fit an exactly 20-ft opening. Because these gates are manufactured shorter, (typically about 3 to 4 inches shorter)than the stated length to leave room for the hinges and latch gap You should narrow your opening to roughly 19'8" to 19'10" for a perfect fit. The Result: Two 10-ft gates will measure a combined 236 inches (19'8"). If placed in a true 240-inch (20-ft) opening, you will have a gap too large to latch properly.14 days agoHelpful?
