Very Nice gate anchor

Well made, and works as it should. Heavier construction than I anticipated from the pictures. It was missing the washers though. They are needed. So that is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5

i didn't use the u-bolts. this install was for old shed doors. just added wood to door and bolted on!

keeping the gate open or closed

Got a swinging 14 foot gate that we need to close once in a while, and this clamped on the round diameter of the vertical leg, and then the rod can be pushed down to secure it. Raises up easily to open the gate and swing it open and secure in the open position.

It was missing the hardware needed for install. I went to the store and they had no replacement in stock, but they gave me the two U bolts and hardware that was missing.
