Wire strainers are better than turnbuckles

I purchased nine gauge high tensile galvanized steel wire, crimps and crimpers, and these strainers. Also posts eye screws. Built a couple of trellises.
I'm really happy the quality of the materials I purchased, and with some support from YouTube, I was able to make exactly what I had envisioned for relatively short money and with excellent structural stability and durability. I've done similar things in the past with turnbuckles, but having good quality crimpers, thicker gauge wire, and strainers I was able to create a much higher quality support.

Always use these fencing for our horses. My Shetland pony likes to swap sides of our separated pastures so it’s nice to be able to tighten it every now and then.

First off the retention clip will constantly pop out of the holes while tightening. Then the frame will bend back and the spindle will come off. These are poorly designed. If you can tighten your h brace enough before it falls apart it might last. Maybe better for other applications, but I don't reccomend for h brace with thicker guage 9 wire .
