Rated 5 out of 5 by from back-saving device After having to dig out numerous steel posts that held tomato trellis in my veggie garden, I said "no more!". I found this at Tractor Supply and purchased it the next day. No more digging out garden posts!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for other posts too Got this to pull about 20 concreted-in vinyl fence posts. Choked up on the post with a logging chain and used the attached hook on the puller. Worked like a breeze. Had all them pulled in about an hour, most with the concrete still attached. Something to add - had to use a 2x6 under the base since my ground was a little marshy in sports, just to keep in from pushing itself into the ground.

A brief description, please, of how it works and how you work it...thank you

Asked by: Tapabill
1) The post puller is completely assembled and ready to use. 2) Set the post puller upright with the handle approximately waist high. 3) Position the T-post lock around one of the post studs. 4) Push the handle down to loosen the post. 5) Move the handle back to waist height and fit theT-post lock around a stud. 6) Push down on the handle. The post should come out of the ground. If it does not, repeat step 5. Note: Hook can be used with 1/4” chain to extract wood and other non “T” type posts.
