The Chief 2.5 in. Bore x 24 in. Stroke LD Loader Welded Cylinder is a small bore welded hydraulic cylinder designed for light-duty loaders. The rod and base ends are welded cross-tubes with grease zerk, giving the hydraulic cylinder a durable and easy to use design. The cylinder's ductile iron piston utilizes a wear ring to protect the seal from wear, increasing the lifespan of the product tremendously.

Excellent replacement for my John Deere 40 Loader

Purchased the loader hydraulic cylinders for the bucket of my John Deere 40 Loader. They perform just as well and a fraction of the cost of a new John Deere cylinder. They are actually only slightly more than rebuilding the cylinders. Although the bore is slightly smaller, cannot tell a difference in performance of the bucket. The new Chief cylinders have been used more than the rebuilt ones I had on the tractor (that started leaking) and have no issues so far. Even if they did, they have a 2 year warranty. I already picked out the Chief cylinders to replace my boom cylinders when they start leaking. The boom ones have the same bore as the old.
Yes, I recommend this product.
