What is the interference dimension? Hub hole size to Knurl OD?? For instance if the hub hole ID in a cast drum measures .520 what is the correct knurl OD max for the press on stud?? Is .005 to .010 larger acceptable??

Asked by: TS Kerns
On our part number 522 the maximum Knurl diameter is approximately 10-12 thousandths more than the stud hole diameter. The Knurling process is significantly different between manufacturers.
