Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bolt pattern wrong This hub clearly says 5 on 4.5” centers. It is not! It is 5 on 4.25” center. I had to go buy a new wheel and tire because the old one wouldn’t fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality hub!!! I needed to replace the hubs on my 1989 skeeter bass boat trailer, took off the old hubs and installed the new ones!! DONE! Works great!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well This hub has a 1 3/8 inner bearing and a 1 1/16 outer bearing to fit a tapered axle. Figured I'd post the dimensions since the product description is severely lacking. Also, the bearing comes packed with regular axle grease so you'll need to repack them in marine if you're planning on using them on a boat trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit for Carry-on Trailer I purchased two a few weeks ago as mine failed! Fit easily & perfectly on my 6x12 Carry-on Trailer. Great price compared to buying parts separately!!!!

What grease are the bearings pre-packed with?

Asked by: Zinger88
The hubs are already on the axle when we purchase them. I do not know what type grease they have in them. The axle manufacturer has the following approved grease for the bearings when they are repacked: ConcocoPhillips - Multiplex RED #2 / 76 Lubricants/Kendall - L427 Super Blu Grease / Citgo - Lithoplex MP #2 also Lithoplex CM # 2 / Exxon/Mobil Company - Ronex MP or Mobilith AW 2 also Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease. Hopefully these approved items will give a good selection of the grease for the bearings.

Does this hub extend the overall length of the axle??

Asked by: Gottsleben
Part#545 fits on the axle spindle. If you are measuring from spindle to spindle then no the hub will not be extending the axle length. We measure our axles from Hub Face to Hub Face and Spring Seat spacing.
