I can exhale

I wasn't sure this hub assembly was going to work for me but once I got it, (very fast shipping), my concerns were put to rest. I bought two of these to put on my 2700# axle (bass boat trailer) and they assembled and fit like a glove. The races are already pressed in so I just had to grease them up, put them in, then press in the seal, place them on the hub spline, put on the outside bearing, tighten the nut and I was good to go. Fits like a glove and the tire spins free and is very quiet. I'm saving one of my old ones as a spare (just in case) but I am confident that these hubs will serve me well. I have taken the trailer on a test drive and the bearings are still quiet and cool.

Wrong hub seals in kit.

I ordered 1 1/16" hubs because thats what my axles are. Everything was good but had the wrong seals with the hubs. Need 1.5" seals for that hub kit. I had to go to a local trailer store and pickup a set of seals.

Should Work, but Sloppy Packaging

Initial thoughts: I do not think I would buy these again. While they look like they’ll work okay, it was packaged terribly. One has a different colored Zinc coating than the other, the bearings were strewn in the box and allowed to bang around. All of the hardware actually was loose and freely banging around in the box. Again, it looks like they’ll work, but the lack of care is really disappointing. I would look elsewhere when considering hub assemblies.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy to install.

This slipped right on with no issues, once I installed the bearing into the hub. Instructions are poor. But YouTube is great. Only problem I had, one of the dust caps came off on the 1st, 80 mile trip. Not really an issue. I'll be buying a set of Bearing Buddies right away.
